SHELBY COUNTY, Ala– As law enforcement officials across Alabama line up behind Luther Strange for attorney general, the Shelby County Chiefs of Police Association is the latest group to endorse Big Luther.
Association President, Police Chief Shelley Tyree said the organization endorsed Strange by official Resolution at their April 21 meeting.
“I’m honored that Police Chiefs, and the hard working men and women they represent, realize how committed I am to a team work approach in fighting crime,” Strange said. “Police officers across our state put their lives on the line each day to keep the public safe. We owe them our gratitude, and as attorney general, I pledge my support and cooperation so that law enforcement officials have every tool and every law on their side in the fight to keep families safe.”
